About Chalet Pelerin

You will not find Le Miroir on most maps, and that is the point. This tiny village in the French alps, home to Eleven’s Chalet Pelerin, offers easy access to incredible ski terrain -Val d’Isere, Tignes, Les Arcs, and La Rosiere are all within 25 minutes. But the hidden gem is Sainte Foy, where quiet, crowd-free slopes are ideal for families, and the backcountry off-piste is some of the best in the Alps.

Epic 1200 metre runs through deserted mountain villages, tucked into powdery, north-facing terrain lead back to the chalet. And for an unforgettable experience, heliski from the neighboring Italian Alps to our rustic outpost, L’Alpage, for a candle lit fondue dinner. In the summer, the glory of the French Alps is the setting for village-to-village hiking and biking, as well as cultural culinary tours of the Haute Savoie region, experience Chalet Pelerin.

This 500 sq. ft. private chalet, is fully staffed with in-house chef, the open plan living area with a central fireplace is a suberb area to relax after a day on the mountain. All the bedrooms offer en-suite facilities and for the kids there is a 4-bed bunkroom, which doubles up as a playroom.

    Sainte Foy

If you take a quick look at Sainte Foy you may think that the resort is minimal and perhaps not going to suffice for a whole week – don’t be fooled, Sainte Foy is a ‘hidden gem’. There is a great selection of catered and self catered options to choose from. The village has retained its alpine charm with beautiful wood chalets surrounding the centre, where you will find a small supermarket and a couple of bars and restaurants to enjoy. There area also 2 small nursery areas right in town making it fantastic for the beginners and a great family choice.

The on-piste skiing will keep beginners and intermediates content and for the advanced off-piste skier the Fogliettaz; offering 1500m of vertical, this is the most renowned off-piste route. It is not for the faint hearted or the inexperienced as it involves a 40 to 50 minute walk to the top at a height of 2930m, either bootlegging up the ridge from the top Aiguille lift, or heading up on skins. There are several entrances to the north facing Fogliettaz bowl all of which can be very steep. The route will end up at the hamlet of Le Crot, from which there is a road (open to cars in the summer) that arrives at Le Miroir. From here you can get a shuttle back to the resort.

For those wanting a ski safari style week this is also your perfect choice with neighbouring resorts of Val d’Isere, Tignes, Les Arcs and La Rossiere all within 30mins drive of the resort.
